Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. Of all the amazing sites in Mississippi, the Petrified Forest is by far one of the most impressive. Millions of years in the making, it’s filled with ancient trees that have been transformed into stone wonders. Not only an incredible site, it’s also extremely unique – it’s the only forest of its kind in the eastern part of the United States. This remarkable natural wonder is an absolute must see.
