A great summertime visit, this lakeside campground includes a private beach, charming cabins, and its own water park. Day passes are available for the water park and beach, so you don’t have to actually stay at the campground to take advantage of its incredible amenities. Dubbed a "little slice of paradise," this lakeside retreat is centered around Goode’s Mill Lake. In addition to 113 RV camp sites, the grounds include a white sand beach that’s perfect for some water-related fun. There are also boat rentals, grills, and an on-site restaurant. A true hidden gem, this small town resort is a must-visit. Not only does it offer RV sites, cabins, and primitive camping, but it also includes the Blue Lagoon - an artesian-fed pool that’s surrounded by gorgeous white sand. Located just outside of Jackson, Yogi on the Lake is a great place for a day of fun in the sun. Aside from a white sand beach, you’ll find a swimming pool, splash pad, water slides, and miniature golf course. Options for staying overnight are nearly as plentiful and include primitive and RV camp sites as well as several different types of lodging – from cabins to lakeside lodge. Located on Bay Springs Lake, this recreation area has not one, but two white sandy beaches. Extend your visit by staying at the onsite campground. There are over 140 sites, each of which includes an impact pad, picnic table, grill, fire ring, lantern post, and water and electrical hookups.


The Sardis Lake Recreation Area includes not one, not two, but three beaches. A great spot for swimmers of all skill levels, the recreation area provides life jackets at no charge. Additional amenities include camping, nature trails, picnic areas, and more. The recreation area’s main office is located at 4155 Clay St., Vicksburg, MS 39183.

Okay, so this isn’t a campground per se, but it’s too good not to mention. Plus, the grounds do include a white sand beach and an RV park – of course, that’s in addition to cabins and a lakeside motel.
