Great BBQ is pretty plentiful here in Mississippi, but for some of the best ribs in the state, you’ve got to pay a visit to Crossroads Rib Shack in Tupelo. As you’ve probably already guessed from the name, it’s not a fancy place, but that’ll be the last thing on your mind once you taste the eatery’s fall-off-the-bone ribs. Take a look:
This is Crossroads Rib Shack. Opened in 2012, it’s located in the Tupelo Commons shopping center.
Like I said before, it’s a laidback type of place - the type of place where you’ll find tables with plastic tablecloths and license plates on the walls.
It’s also the kind of place that puts an entire roll of paper towels on each table, which is a sign of deliciously, messy BBQ. And that’s a good thing because everyone knows if the BBQ isn’t messy, it’s not done right.
The mouthwatering menu also includes southern-inspired apps, salads, sandwiches, "good ole fashioned sides," and desserts that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
Crossroads Rib Shack is located at 3061 Tupelo Commons, Tupelo, MS, 38804. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. For more information, call (662) 844-1700 or visit the eatery’s Facebook page.
