Billed as the “most magical show in Mississippi,” this is one holiday event you don’t want to miss. The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival takes place from November 24-December 31, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. every night. Visitors to this holiday light show in Mississippi can enjoy carnival rides, enchanting train rides, visits with Santa, and so much more. The charming town of Cleveland pulls out all of the stops during the holiday season. One of the best Christmas light displays in Mississippi kicks off on November 11, 2023, and runs all the way until New Year’s Day. Over 1 million lights illuminate the town, and you can experience this free event as a drive-thru or stroll down the walking trail.

From Thanksgiving until New Year’s Eve visitors can expect to stroll through a sea of sensational lights, hop on wagon tours, drive-thru displays, and even take a selfie with Santa. Not only will visitors get a chance to marvel at the millions of twinkling lights that adorn Olive Branch City Park, but there will also be live performances, food options, and photos with Santa every night from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. There’s even a special evening reserved for the four-legged members of the family! Live music and good food during the day and then in the evening Santa will be showing up on his famous water-propelled sleigh down Deer Creek. The floats that illuminate Deer Creek will stay up throughout the holiday season, so if you can’t miss the big day, definitely make it a point to stop by before the season ends.
