Located along the Natchez Trace Parkway, French Camp is a historic village that dates back to 1810.

Today, the village from yesteryear offers plenty to see and do. In addition to Log Cabin Gift Shop, the grounds include Council House Café, several historic buildings, demonstrations, and a B&B.

Steeped in history, the store is housed in a dogtrot cabin from the 1840s. Stepping inside the dated structure is like traveling back in time.

Only adding to the cabin’s significance is that it’s situated on the approximate site of the inn that was part of the original French Camp village.

But the store’s structure isn’t the only notable thing about it - there’s also the merchandise it contains.

Peruse the shelves, and you’ll find an array of handmade goods.

Arts, crafts, quilts, and home décor are just a few of the things you’ll find in Log Cabin Gift Shop.

Jarred goods are part of the merchandise mix, too.

Even better, a majority of the items sold in the store are made by students of French Camp Academy as well as local artisans.

Housed in a centuries-old cabin and stocked with one-of-a-kind merchandise, a visit to Log Cabin Gift Shop is bound to be a memorable one.
