Located along a lonely stretch of highway near Foxworth, you’ll find one of Mississippi’s most impressive wonders – a massive canyon that seems to go on forever. Officially named Red Bluff, the unbelievable site is often referred to as Mississippi’s Little Grand Canyon. Offering one-of-a-kind views and amazing hiking opportunities, this hidden gem is worth checking out. Take a look:
Mississippi’s Little Grand Canyon is located on Highway 587 in the community of Morgantown.
Though there’s not an official trail, the 400’ path is well-worn; however, it can be a bit slippery, so be careful.

Once at the bottom of the canyon, spend some time exploring the sandbars of the Pearl River as well as some wreckage from a train that was derailed years back.
