This Fruitstand Has The Best Homemade Jams and Jellies In Mississippi

Between specialty shops and farmers markets, there are plenty of places in Mississippi to stock up on fresh jams and jellies. And one place that shouldn’t be overlooked is Country Tyme Fruitstand. The roadside shop sells a huge variety of jams and jellies – and that’s in addition to a ton of other fresh, locally produced goods. Take a look:

Country Tyme Fruitstand is situated along Highway 49 in Hattiesburg.

Basically a roadside farmers market, the delightful shop carries everything from fresh produce and homemade goods to gifts and seasonal décor.

There’s even an on-site restaurant, where you can fill up on home-cooked specials and old fashioned burgers.

The huge selection of fresh fruits and veggies will probably be the first thing you notice when you walk in…

…but a close second is sure to be the variety of jams, jellies, and other jarred goodies that fill an entire wall of the shop.

As far as the jams and jellies, there's quite an assortment. In addition to standard fruit flavors, you’ll also find some not-so-standard flavors and local favorites, like mayhaw jelly and Satsuma jelly.

And don’t forget about the "famous homemade pepper jelly." The shop carries one of the largest selections around, so you can stock up on all your favorites.

Be sure to give yourself time to look around. As far as the produce, you’ll find what seems like a never-ending supply.

Other tasty items, such as Amish products, syrups, honey, salsa, and pickles, can also be found among the vast selection. You can stock up on desserts, sweets, and other baked goods, too.

The merchandise isn’t contained to the store’s interior, though. Step outside, and you’ll find plants, gardening décor, homemade rockers, and…
