2. Mississippi River Museum (1 Riverpark Dr., Robinsonville)

3. Rowan Oak (916 Old Taylor Rd., Oxford)
The former home of William Faulkner, Rowan Oak sits on 29 acres and includes a beautiful forested area known as Bailey’s Woods. The stunning grounds are free to explore and make a lovely picnic spot.
4. Red Bluff a.k.a. The Secret Pearl River Run
Over the course of this 33-mile route, you’ll find plenty of hills, lots of twists and turns, and expansive wooded areas. Begin the scenic drive in Columbia, where you’ll take Highway 98 to Highway 587 all the way to Monticello. Along the way, you can stop at Red Bluff and take in the breathtaking views from atop the vast formation.
5. Corinth Coke Museum (221 North Filmore St., Corinth)
This recently opened museum features over 1,000 pieces of authentic Coca-Cola memorabilia in addition to a variety of old fashioned drink machines. Located inside the Corinth Depot, the museum charges an admission of $5 for adults, while anyone 16 and under gets in for free.
6. Clark Creek Nature Area (366 Fort Adams Rd., Woodville)
A hidden gem, you could easily spend all day at this 700-acre nature area, which is filled with huge rock formations and plenty of gorgeous waterfalls. Even better, there are both primitive and improved hiking trails that make exploring Clark Creek a breeze. Entry to the park is $4 per vehicle (up to 6 people) and $0.50 per person over 6 people.
7. Washington County Welcome Center (Hwy 82 and Reed Rd., Greenville)
Named one of the "10 most unique welcome centers in the U.S.," this welcome center is housed in a replica steamboat that was originally built for the 1984 World’s Fair. Aside from its unique appearance, the Greenville landmark is worth a visit, as it’s filled with exhibits pertaining to the history of the Mississippi Delta.
8. Cave Spring (milepost 308.4 on the Natchez Trace Parkway)
The Natchez Trace Parkway is full of must-visit sites, and Cave Spring is definitely one of them. One of only a few caves in Mississippi, it’s not only beautiful but rare. And with a trail leading straight to it, a visit to Cave Spring makes for one unforgettable hike.
9. The Kroc Center (575 Division St., Biloxi)
Located inside Biloxi’s Kroc Center, this indoor water park is a great place to spend a summer day – rain or shine. Perfect for all ages, it includes a water slide, splash pad, lazy river, and pool. 10. Landrum’s Homestead (1356 MS-15, Laurel)
A replica of a standard 1800’s settlement, Landrum’s Homestead offers visitors an experience like no other. History comes to life at the Laurel attraction thanks to over 60 buildings and displays. The historically accurate village includes a general store, smokehouse, shooting gallery, trading post, Indian village, schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, a chapel, and more. Touring the entire homestead will cost $10 per person, which is extremely reasonable when you consider you’re travelling back in time.
