Mystic Ghost Rides is offering a special holiday tour that combines just about every holiday mascot you could think of.
If you grew up in Mississippi or Louisiana, chances are you’ve heard the tales of the Rougarou. This mythical creature lurks in the depths of the surrounding swamps and bayous, waiting patiently for its next victim. There are many different versions of this Cajun legend, mostly centered around Lent. The creature is described as having the body of a man with the head of a wolf/dog and is known to come after those who break their Lenten vows.
The tour lasts one hour and begins with a boat ride through the waterways of Bay St. Louis.
Be sure to bundle up, it can get chilly out there!
Once you’re back on land, you’ll take to the streets for a ghost walk of Bay St. Louis. There will also be a brief stop for beverages. Warm up with a hot chocolate or an alcoholic drink.
