After Hurricane Katrina destroyed his restaurant in 2005, Thomas Genin set out to create a new restaurant. Genin loves the Caribbean; and even more, he loved the casual bars, the open air, the laid-back feel, and the good food he found in little out-of-the-way places he found there. He designed and opened The Blind Tiger, a restaurant where you could experience the relaxation and color of the islands without the price of traveling there.
