A couple of years ago, we told you about the Iuka Drive-In. At the time, it was Mississippi’s only drive-in theater; however, that’s no longer the case. Last year, a second drive-in theater opened in the Magnolia State. And just like its predecessor, it’s tucked away in a tiny town. Take a look:

Please note, the Haas Cienda Ranch Drive-In has permanently closed.

There’s no shortage of hidden gems in small town Mississippi, and you’ll find one of the newest, the Haas Cienda Ranch Drive-In, in Poplarville.

Though the Haas Cienda Ranch has been a Poplarville staple for years, the drive-in is a fairly new addition – it opened in 2019.

The drive-in operates on a seasonal basis and is open Friday and Saturday nights March – December. There are also Thursday night showings held periodically throughout the year.

Each night, the drive-in plays two movies, with the first beginning around 7:45 p.m. However, you may want to arrive early, so you have time to hit up the concession stand before the movie starts.
