Head to 502 Nelson Street in Greenville and you’ll come across Doe’s Eat Place. The unassuming building may not look like much on the outside, but inside you’ll find delicious food and more southern hospitality than you can handle.

The building that now houses Doe’s was originally a home and then served as a grocery store, before being transformed into a restaurant in 1941.

Since opening, the Greenville eatery has been drawing in crowds of hungry diners, and while many things have changed throughout the years, one thing has remained the same – Doe’s knows good steak.
