Visit with dinosaurs from around the world at Dinosaurs Around The World! The world-renowned exhibit features dozens of animated dinosaurs, giving you a glimpse at an Earth very different from today. Only in Mississippi for a few months, you’ll want to mark your calendar for this can’t-miss event. Take a look:
Lakeview Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg hosts a slew of great events throughout the year, and this year, one of those “great events” is Dinosaurs Around The World.
An Imagine Exhibitions production, Dinosaurs Around The World has been showcased at museums and venues around the world, and now it’s Mississippi’s turn.
The world-renowned exhibit opened on October 29, 2020, and will remain in Hattiesburg until January 10, 2021. It’s open every Thursday – Sunday, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
With animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, fossils, authentic casts, cutting-edge research and immersive design, the exhibit brings the Age of Reptiles to life.
As you meander around the exhibit, you’ll be transported to a time before the continents as we know them existed and dinosaurs freely roamed the Earth.
Intricately detailed and animated, the dinosaurs are sure to make an impression on visitors of all ages. The fact that the dinosaurs are in motion is just part of the appeal, though.
And that leads us to another part of the exhibit’s allure – it’s for a good cause. Yep, all ticket sales benefit the construction of a new education center at the Hattiesburg Zoo.
