Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of things to do in Moss Point. One destination that shouldn’t be missed, though, is the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). Spanning thousands of acres and boasting a variety of habitats, the reserve is just waiting for Mississippi explorers.
Of all the things to do in Moss Point, Grand Bay NERR ranks pretty high up there, especially when it comes to outdoor fun.
Of course, every visit to Grand Bay NERR should begin at the interpretive center, which is home to state-of-the-art exhibits and a resident turtle named Tobi.
Informative signs can be found throughout the reserve, including along its trails, making every stroll through the reserve as educational as it is recreational.
As if it couldn’t get any better, Grand Bay NERR is FREE to visit. For more information, call the Grand Bay NERR at (228) 475-7047. You can also visit the Grand Bay NERR website.
