Sometimes, it’s small-town restaurants that make the biggest impressions – and Coffee Pot Café is definitely one of those restaurants. Incredibly unique and equally as quirky, a visit to the eatery is practically guaranteed to be a memorable one. The mouthwatering fare is just an added bonus! Take a look:
Coffee Pot Café is tucked away in the small town of Enterprise. Easy to find, just keep an eye out for the larger-than-life coffee pot that sits out front.
A longtime favorite, the original Coffee Pot Café opened in Brookhaven in 1930. The Enterprise locale was opened sometime later by the original owner’s grandchild.
From the lively hues that adorn the chairs and tablecloths to the vibrant string lights and eclectic décor that cover the walls and ceiling, it’s truly one-of-a-kind.
Of course, it’s not just the décor that makes the café memorable. There’s also the mouthwatering fare, which the eatery describes as good food with Louisiana flair.
Serving up local and regional favorites, the menu features dishes, like gumbo, etouffee, and red beans and rice. Practically guaranteed to quench your craving for home-cooked goodness, a majority of the dishes are made using generations old recipes (and a touch of love, of course).
In addition to familiar favorites, there’s an ever-evolving array of daily specials as well as signature items, such as the Driftwood (a hamburger creation served on po’ boy bread).
Coffee Pot Café is open Wednesday – Saturday, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Friday – Saturday, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. For more information, call (601) 659-0500. You can also visit the Coffee Pot Café Facebook page.
