Mississippi is home to several restaurants that serve up more than a great meal – and The Carriage House Restaurant is one of them. Located on the grounds of Stanton Hall, it offers a dining experience filled with delicious southern food and loads of history. Take a look:
Among the stately mansions that fill Natchez, you’ll find Stanton Hall.
But there’s more to the historic home than its impressive size. There’s also the fact that its grounds include one of Natchez’s oldest eateries, The Carriage House Restaurant.
The desserts are just as tantalizing as the rest of the fare....and just as southern. Bread pudding, praline ice cream, and peach cobbler are just the beginning of the sweet selection.
While dining at The Carriage House Restaurant, your eyes are sure to be drawn to the big bay window, which offers a close up view of Stanton Hall. However, that’s not your only chance to see the stunning mansion.
The Carriage House Restaurant is open 5 days a week. Visit Wednesday – Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. For more information, call (601) 445-5151. You can also check out The Carriage House Restaurant Facebook page.
