Each holiday season, thousands of people from all over the South head to Canton for the town’s Christmas Festival. Offering fun for the young and old alike, the yearly event is a beloved tradition for many families. And after you see everything it has to offer, the festival is sure to become one of your favorite holiday traditions, too.
A much anticipated event, the Canton Christmas Festival promises "small town charm, nostalgia for holidays past, and a dash of the season’s magic."
During the festival, parades are held every Friday and Saturday night (at 6:30 pm and 8 pm). The festive floats and lovable characters are sure to get people of all ages into the holiday spirit.
Canton's Animation Museums are another festival highlight. Decked out for the holidays, they're full of animated figures and cheerful holiday scenes. Even better, it costs only $4 to visit both museums.
