Hippity hoppity Easter’s on its way! And we’ve got just the place for you to partake in some seasonal fun – Lazy Acres Farm. During the first two weekends in April, the farm will open its Bunny Patch, where kids can do some huntin’ for Easter eggs. But that’s not all. The farm also offers meals with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt for adults. Read on for all the details.
Lazy Acres Farm is located in the tiny town of Chunky. Since opening as a Christmas tree farm in 1980, it’s grown to encompass 200 acres and offer all sorts of seasonal fun.
Held in the farm’s Bunny Patch, the egg-hunting fun takes place April 4th, 10th, and 11th, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and April 5th, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The farm also hosts a special needs egg hunt on April 10th, from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Fun for the entire family (yes, even Dad!) the egg hunts at the Bunny Patch aren’t like traditional egg hunts. Instead, they’re more like scavenger hunts.
Admission to the Easter egg hunt is $9.95 per person, ages 3 and up (children 2 and under are free). That price also includes access to the farm’s fun attractions, including Hoops in the Coop, the Mississippi Mine Slide, jumping pillow, and Animal Acres.
New this year is Bunnies and Barbeque, an adults-only event (18 and up) that includes great food, live music, and the opportunity to hunt for some prize-filled eggs.
In addition to a tasty meal and quality time with the Easter Bunny, the cost of breakfast, which is $18 per person, also includes an Easter egg hunt and access to the farm's other attractions.
Remember, the Bunny Patch is open April 4 – 5 and 10 – 11, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, call (833) 327-6386. You can also visit Lazy Acres Farm website or Facebook page.
