Things aren’t always what they seem – and that’s exactly the case with Bully’s Restaurant. The eatery’s unassuming exterior doesn’t give passersby the slightest hint of the amazing soul food being served inside. However, a parking lot that stays packed is a bit of a clue. Take a look:
A Jackson staple, Bully’s Restaurant has been serving up great soul food since 1982.
Throughout the years, it’s remained in the same brick building on Livingston Avenue, which was built by owners and former masons, Tyrone Bully and his father.
And sticking to the laid-back vibe, the food at Bully's is served on red trays. Of course, after one look at the mouthwatering menu, you won't mind what the food is served on.
Chitterlings, turkey wings, meatloaf, mac and cheese, rice and gravy, tomatoes and okra, yams, and greens - collards, turnips, and mustards are just a few of the things you’ll find on the menu.
Bully’s Restaurant is open Monday – Saturday, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. For more information, call (601) 362-0484. You can also visit the Bully’s Restaurant Facebook page.
