For your next family day trip, round up your wild bunch and take them to meet the wild bunch at Blue Springs Safari. The recently opened wildlife park is home to a menagerie of animals, which you can interact with as well as view from afar. A wildly good time is practically guaranteed!
Opened in Guntown in the fall of 2020, Blue Springs Safari is Mississippi’s newest small town gem.
It started off as a travelling zoo with just a zebra and a wallaby. Now, it’s a 44-acre farm with a variety of animals, a petting zoo, and safari ride.
Alpacas, ostriches, antelope, miniature donkeys and horses, porcupines, a macaque monkey, and kangaroos are just a few of the animals contained within the park’s large fenced-in areas.
Aside from the fenced-in animals, there’s a Baby Room, where you can hold and interact with small and baby animals, such as pygmy goats, lambs, Holland Lop rabbits, and more.
Once you’ve walked through the park and treated the animals to handfuls of feed, you can hop aboard a tractor-pulled wagon for a safari tour of the park.
