Recently named the “best sandwich shop” in Mississippi, the diner’s hearty sandwiches include everything from standards, like BLTs, to unique creations. Bound to be among the most mouthwatering sandwiches you’ve ever eaten, a visit to Big Bad Breakfast is a must. Take a look:
Big Bad Breakfast (BBB) is located at 719 N. Lamar Boulevard in Oxford.
Though the menu is filled with a variety of delicious sandwiches, it's the breakfast sandwiches that led to BBB being named the "best sandwich shop" in the state.
The one-of-a-kind creation includes pimento cheese, slaw, bread and butter pickles, tomato, and bacon on toast. According to the restaurant's chef, the sandwich "fully represents the South, in all its flavors and glory."

However, this isn't the first time BBB has been recognized.
Aside from being featured in countless TV shows and magazines, BBB was included in Yahoo's "25 Best Sandwiches Across The USA" and in Southern Living's "The South’s Best Biscuit Joints."
With options like original Grit Girl grits and Anson Mills steel cut oatmeal, deciding on what sides to order will be just as difficult as picking an entree.
