Loblolly Festival takes place on the first Saturday of every October, and this year it’s slated for October 7, 2023. Celebrating Laurel’s sawmill town roots, you can expect several vendors, live music, and good food for this one-day event. The 33rd annual Gautier Mullet and Music Festival kicks off on October 21, 2023, and it’s always a good time. This year marks the festival’s 13th year and promises to be one to remember. This fall festival in Mississippi has a reputation for being one of the best outdoor festivals in the Delta, and we’d have to agree! Kids will love all of the activities just for them, including face painting, inflatable bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, and even train rides! Adults will enjoy the live music and the Mississippi Delta State Barbecue Championship, a very high honor for the winners. The festival takes place October 13-14, 2023.
