Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. In the years since, she’s had the privilege of having her articles appear in several publications, such as the Mississippi-based Parents & Kids Magazine. She’s also had the honor of interviewing actress Sela Ward for The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience.
There’s a lot to look forward to during the holiday season. And this year with the re-opening of the King’s Christmas Display, it looks like Gulf Coast residents have one more thing to add to that list. The beloved display, which operated from 1956 to 1995, will be open nightly throughout the month of December. Even better, it’s free to all! Take a look:
On December 8, 2018, the King’s Christmas Display opened for the first time in more than 20 years! A great holiday event, it’s open nightly from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. through December 30th.
Over the past two decades, the Kings received countless requests to bring back the display – and lucky for us, they’ve decided to give the public what it wants.
The 2018 display is bound to look familiar to those who have visited in the past. In addition to the original nativity scene that started it all, the current display features animated figures and other decorations from years past.
In the true spirit of southern hospitality, all visitors are invited inside the King’s home, which is beautifully decked out for the holidays. Inside, there’s complimentary coffee for adults and candy canes for the little ones.

The King’s Christmas Display is located at 15324 Three Rivers Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532. For more information, call (228) 860-2263. You can also visit the display’s Facebook page.
