Opened since 1968, this "dairy bar meets Delta diner" has it all – hearty helpings of local favorites, such as fried catfish and po’ boys, along with traditional sweets, like malts, ice cream cones, and sundaes.
In business since 1947, this Hernando eatery has become famous for its soft-serve ice cream, which comes in over 100 flavors, sundaes, and milkshakes. Aside from traditional items, the menu is filled with signature creations, such as the Elvis Shake, Mexican Shake, and the Mule Slobber.
Visit this old fashioned pharmacy and ice cream parlor, and you’ll find all sorts of traditional goodies, such as sundaes, shakes, floats, malts, and banana splits.

This traditional drug store has been serving the Jackson area for years now, and in that time, has gained a reputation for its great hamburgers and even better milkshakes. Although opened in 2002, a visit to the Ye Ole Drugstore and Deli will transport you back in time, as it is housed in a historic building and contains décor and furnishings that date back to the 1920s. There’s also a soda fountain from 1938, which still works and will undoubtedly make your visit even sweeter.
As the oldest operating drug store and soda fountain in the state, Borroum’s has had plenty of time to perfect an array of delicious treats, which, of course, includes real malted milks and ice cream sodas.

Located in downtown Ocean Springs, this soda fountain was once frequented by Elvis Presley. Visit today and you’ll find nostalgic décor, which includes a ton of Elvis memorabilia, and authentic ice cream sodas, milkshakes, malts, and more.
It’s hard to not feel nostalgic at this Horn Lake drive-in, where you’ll find old fashioned burgers and shakes at old fashioned prices. Even better, all food is cooked to order and guaranteed to be fresh.
