It’s no secret that drivers in Minnesota often fail to meet the basic expectations of operating a vehicle. Freeways are constantly slowed by the never-ending barrage of terrible MN drivers slipping and sliding in the winter and messing up in the summer. Some places are consistently worse than others for accidents though, and you may be surprised to find out which towns have the worst drivers in the state. Here are 16 of those towns, who had A LOT of accidents last year:
1. Arden Hills - We are hoping that everyone kept their hard hats on after this TCAAP ground breaking! Arden Hills had 1 accident per 24 people, the highest rate in MN! Yikes!
2. Wayzata - With killer views of Lake Minnetonka, it's no wonder people in Wayzata can't focus on the road. 1 out of every 28 people in Wayzata last year had an accident!
7 & 8. Golden Valley - Tied with Little Canada, the place where all those commuters are going, is probably full of the overworked, tired, and under-caffeinated masses just trying to stay in their lane.
11 & 12. Medina - Closely followed by Mankato. You'd think with workers of the Hennepin County Transportation Department in Medina, that the drivers would be more on top of their game! But both these cities averaged 1 accident per 44 people!
