Minnesota is definitely known for having its own culture; from the creative cities, to the corporate suburbs, to the rural hometowns, you’ll find an amazing array of personalities and stories when you get to know the citizens of our state. And some of us really are guilty of fitting a stereotype or two. Here are a few of the types of MN personalities you might come-across, and while most of us a are a mix of a few of these, there’s usually one we identify with the most. You fully take advantage of all 4 MN seasons and are always outside. You're always on a hike, canoe trip, hunting, skiing or really doing anything outside. And you sometimes dress like Paul Bunyan.
You are the hockey, soccer, basketball mom (or dad) extraordinaire (and maybe occasionally over-competitive). You live for your family and you are the perpetual coach and cheerleader of everyone you care about. You somehow manage to fit a million things into a day when the rest of us aren't even getting off the couch.

Sure you have a great day job with a good company, but come 4pm on Friday afternoon and you're ready and packed for another weekend adventure. Your cabin is your first home, not your second, and you'd rather have more 4-wheelers and snowmobiles than go on that European vacation.
