On a hot summer day, what better thing to do than cool off under the shade of a tall tree? In southern Minnesota, there’s an entire tunnel of trees to cool off under. That is, after you explore the scenic trail that winds through it. You’ll be blown away by the enchanting beauty of this experience. Take a look:
The Cannon Valley Trail is a trail along a former railroad line in southeastern Minnesota. All travelers in the spring and summer months must have a wheel pass, which costs $4 per person over age 18.
The Cannon Valley trail is surrounded by thick forest in many sections. Tall trees grow over the trail, their canopies meeting high above the pavement.
