While all we do is talk about how amazing and unique Minnesota is, there are a few standout things that really are ONLY in Minnesota. Where else can you find so many lakes and a giant spoon? Here are some of the most notable and recognizable things that you’ll find only in our state.

1. Lakes everywhere you look! It's one of the only things most people know about MN!

2. The biggest and best canoe area in the world, BWCA!

3. Some awesome outdoor sculptures, but most importantly Spoonbridge and Cherry.

4. The most beautiful fall colors in the world! So amazing!

5. Not to mentionhe best sunsets. Can you think of a sunset that rivals this one?

6. The headwaters of the one and only Mississippi River! It flows through several states but starts in MN!

7. The Mayo Clinic in all its world renowned glory. Don't worry other states, we'll just be saving lives over here in MN.

8. The best State Fair. How many of you went this year?

9. Superior's North Shore in all its spectacular beauty!

10. First Ave in Minneapolis, the world famous music venue and launching place of many musicians.

11. So much snow and cold that it's all people joke about or know us for.

12. World's largest prairie chicken, among many other world's largest things people had no idea existed until they drove by! Yay MN!
