We talked about why everyone should love Minnesotans, but what should Minnesotans love? Maybe their home state, their home teams, and their culture if I were to name a few, but here are 10 things that every Minnesotan undeniably loves.
1. Nature! Minnesota is full of breathtaking scenery and all Minnesotans love it! It's what makes this place so special.
3. Snow. While it might be a pain, it's also our best friend. It's gorgeous and since it sticks around in MN, if we didn't love it, we wouldn't stick around either!
6. Festivals & Fairs. Minnesota has a festival for EVERYTHING. So, chances are every Minnesotan loves at least a few of the them! There's never a dull weekend in MN.
7. Biking. The best way to get around in the summer holds a special place in the hearts of many a Minnesotan. It's a state favorite for enjoying the summer sun!
8. Summer. Not only do Minnesotans love summer, but we love it way more than most people. We have to wait out a long and grueling winter for our amazing few months of sunshine and swimming weather!
9. Being original. Whether you're a city hipster or small town purist, Minnesotans love being the first. Maybe that's why we made so many of the best inventions.
10. Laughing at themselves. We love MN jokes. From accents to weather to Ole and Lena, we love joking about our home state. We never take ourselves too seriously which is why it's the most fun state to live in!
Minnesotans may all be unique individuals, be we do have a few common loves that bring our state together. What else do you think we all love? Tell us on the Only In Minnesota Facebook Page!
