If you’re looking for something fun to do in Minnesota and don’t want to shell out big money, or any money, try these activities for under $10! You don’t need to have a lot of money to enjoy the amazing culture and beauty of this state! In fact, a lot of the best and most famous attractions in Minnesota cost very little if anything at all!
1. Walk, Bike, Drive the Ground Rounds Scenic Byway. It's beautiful, historic, and a great way to spend a day.
2. See some hilarious and awesome road-side attractions like one of the many Paul and Babe statues or one of our world's largest statues (or twine balls).
3. Try a new flavor of craft ice cream. Or for a really cheap taste test, just ask at your local place for multiple samples... but you didn't hear it from us!
6. Go to the Como Zoo. It's so amazing to have a free zoo and it's easy to make a 1 or 2 dollar donation, so definitely take advantage of it multiple times each year!
7. Hang out at a local beach. Unlike the coastal states like Florida and California, there are beaches EVERYWHERE where you can actually find parking. Head to a local lake beach or even a state park where you won't pay more than $5.
8. Speaking of State Parks, explore one of those! You can park for just $5 (not to mention get an annual pass for $25) and explore miles and miles of unforgettable scenery.
10. Or if you want to go outside, check out some free sculptures. The Franconia Sculpture Garden and the Walker Sculpture Garden are both particularly amazing.
