2. Dive into a swimming hole.
Minnesota also boasts more than a few nice swimming holes. Whether you prefer to dive from a high place or to make a more gentle entry, a swimming hole trip is an ideal summer activity.
3. Head up north for a relaxing resort stay.
Looking to get away from it all? A trip to the Thunderbird Lodge in northern Minnesota may just do the trick. Located hundreds of miles north of the Twin Cities, it's a truly remote resort that will leave you feeling refreshed.
4. Explore Minnesota's little-known beaches.
You may think going to the beach is always a crowded, stressful affair. But it doesn't have to be. At one of Minnesota's little-known beaches, you can sink your feet into the sand without dealing with crowds.
