Trent Jonas came to Minnesota to attend college - and never left. He's a Twin Cities-based writer with a BA in English and a MFA in creative writing, a Minnesota Master Naturalist, and the proud father of two adult children. Each spring, Lanesboro’s Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center (“ELC”) hosts its Maple Syrup Fest which, as you’ve likely surmised, is a maple syrup festival in Minnesota. Come along to learn more about where maple syrup comes from, how it’s made, and to sample the results.
Maple Syrup Fest at Eagle Bluff ELC does require tickets. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Eagle Bluff’s website. Since you’ll be in the area, be sure to take some time to explore the charming town of Lanesboro, which is just a short distance from the environmental learning center. The Branding Iron, a supper club in quaint Preston, is a great place for a dinner stop in the area.
