Minnesota antique hounds, take notice! There are dozens of lovely towns across the state that have the best selection of antique goodies outside of the internet. One of our favorite towns — for many reasons, including this one — is Stillwater. This beautiful riverside town is home to more than 10 antique stores, and it’s well worth checking out.
Stillwater, Minnesota, is a beautiful town that everyone should visit at least once — even if you don’t like antiques.
However, if you are visiting for a day of antiquing, you’re in luck. The town of Stillwater has nearly a dozen great antique stores for you to explore.
At Midtown Antique Mall, you'll find a three-story mall with more than 65 vendors. It's the largest antique mall in the Midwest, specializing in everything from art and furniture to clothing to collectibles.
Just down the road from Midtown is Stillwater Antiques Mall. With many dealers setting up shop in this 5,000-square-foot store, there is always something new to see.
And just a little further down the road? Staples Mill Antiques is a 10,000-square-foot beast of an antique store. You could spend hours browsing the beautifully preserved furniture and unique artwork.
Downtown Stillwater holds many smaller antique stores, too. American Gothic Antiques is filled to the brim with interesting curiosities on every surface. You're bound to score something new for the home.
If you're looking for a unique gift — for a loved one or for yourself — you might consider River City Antiques. This smaller shop has many interesting items from the mid-20th century. If you're looking for anything from old advertising signs to quirky collectibles, you'll probably find it here.
While these are some of the larger or more well-known antique stores in Stillwater, there are plenty of others as well. There are even vintage and antique specialty shops! Let There Be Light Antiques focuses on antique lighting for the home...
