Minnesota’s natural scenery is beautiful in every season of the year. There’s always something to see or do, whether it’s a new-to-you trail to hike, or a secret fishing spot to discover. One of the best places to get up close with nature in Minnesota is a large nature preserve in the city of Fridley. This park has just about everything you could ask for in a nature area, from hiking trails to wetlands to picnic shelters. If you’re looking for a place to visit on your next outdoor outing, look no further than Springbrook Nature Center. Here’s what you need to know:
Springbrook Nature Center is a beautiful 127-acre park in Fridley, Minnesota. Address: 100 85th Avenue Northwest, Fridley, MN, 55432.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a beautiful new interpretive building. This space has lots of information about the nature you'll encounter at the park. It's also the site of the many special events held here.
After you explore the interpretive center, it's time to explore the rest of the park. It's situated near wetland areas that will make you feel much further from the metro area than you really are. There are 3 miles of hiking trails that lead to the most beautiful spaces in the park.
Between the blue waters, the blue sky, and the perfect quiet, it'll feel like something close to paradise. Add to that the common sight of wildlife found throughout the park - geese, ducks, deer, and much more - and you won't want to leave.
