12 Reasons Southern Minnesota Is One Of The Most Underrated Places in The State

One of Minnesota’s most spectacular, and overlooked areas is by far the southern part of the state. From the sweeping prairie to the crystal clear lakes and rivers, there is so much beauty that can be found in this under-appreciated region. Here are some other reasons we think Southern MN needs more recognition:
1. You can find beautiful barns like this dotted throughout the countryside. And every bit of land surrounding the buildings is equally as stunning.
9. You can find gorgeous parks in Southern Minnesota, and many of them have plenty of room for you to camp and relax, because they aren't over-visited like those North Shore ones!
