Small town Minnesota doesn’t always get the credit it deserves. Across the state there are so many beautiful communities that many don’t know about or appreciate, but the residents never let it get in their way. 3. They're family oriented.

Unless someone moves to a small town to be VERY alone, they're usually family oriented. They're all about spending time with the ones they love - there aren't many others around anyway! And a lot of families stay in the same small town for generations.
4. They're resourceful!

They know how to get everything they need with limited resources, which makes a lot of sense when you consider how hard it is to get anywhere during the Minnesota winter.

Speaking of MN winters, they REALLY have winter. The roads are aren't all plowed before they wake up and they have to fight back against the frigid temperatures to keep their small towns running as usual.
6. They're great at shopping local.

7. They get to know their neighbors.
