To go along with the beautiful restaurant is some truly phenomenal food. In fact, Young Joni's chef, Ann Kim, was recently honored with the prestigious James Beard Award. Wood-fired pizzas are the Young Joni specialty.
But there's even more to Young Joni than meets the eye. On the side of the building, down an alleyway, is a door to a secret speakeasy with a simple name: Back Bar.
Walk inside, and you're transported back to the 1920s, when Prohibition forced local watering holes into hiding. From the decor to the lighting, Back Bar feels like a different world.
Don't forget to order a craft cocktail to go alongside it. There are many to choose from, so you're bound to find a new favorite no matter what you crave.
