But instead of heading to one of the most popular spots, like Lake Calhoun or Minnehaha Falls, why not try something a little off the beaten track? The Normandale Japanese Garden in Bloomington is the perfect place to get some fresh air without running into too many crowds. Better yet, this secret garden is seriously beautiful.
You'll find the Normandale Japanese Garden in an unexpected location. It's on the grounds of Normandale Community College.

These days, the garden is often used for special events. Its beautiful greenery, eye-catching bridges, and unique buildings make it a fun spot for weddings.
