If there is one thing Minnesota is known for, it’s certainly not its elevation. Our state is mostly flat, with our highest point just 2,301 feet above sea level. The upside of this is that we don’t have to brave mountain passes or roads with sheer drops. But there is one road in Minnesota that can be a nail-biting experience – especially if your driver is afraid of heights. Let’s take a look at what road it is, why it’s scary, and what sights you can see if you choose to brave the drive.
Have you ever driven on Skyline Parkway? Did you find it scary? Let us know your experience! Or, if you’re interested in more of Minnesota’s spectacular roads, check out this trip across Minnesota’s longest highway.
