Minnesota is gorgeous all year. Winter brings snow-covered scenes, spring brings flowers in bloom, and summer is full of sunny lakes. But for many Minnesotans, fall is the prettiest time of year. The changing of the leaves is absolutely spectacular, especially in Minnesota’s many forested areas. Among the most beautiful places to see the fall leaves is in the Sawtooth Mountains. If you’d like to see for yourself, try hiking the Oberg Mountain Loop. This trail – part of the larger Superior Hiking Trail – will take you into the hilly Sawtooth Mountains, where you’ll see some of Minnesota’s most breathtaking views of fall colors from above.
