Rushford, Minnesota, is a tiny town in the southwestern corner of the state. It's about 25 miles north of the Iowa border. The population of this tiny town is about 1,700 people.
Though Rushford is small, it is full of immense beauty. The town is in southeastern Minnesota's bluff country. A tall bluff looms over the own. No matter when you visit, it's an impressive sight. But covered in the green of summer, it looks like nothing else in Minnesota.
Downtown Rushford is exactly what you might expect from a town like this one. It's full of sleepy streets lined with charming buildings, some historic. This is a lovely place to take a stroll.
