Here in Minnesota, we’re used to finding ways to entertain ourselves when the weather turns cold. Popular activities such as ice fishing, skiing, or snowshoeing are all excellent ways to pass the time in the winter. But there are many other fun things to do when it gets snowy. For example, why no take a sleigh ride through the woods? There are a few places in Minnesota where this is possible, including the attraction we’d like to introduce today. Roselawn Stables in St. Francis, Minnesota, offers wintry sleigh rides through the woods, and they’re every bit as charming as you might imagine.
Roselawn Stables is a horse stable in St. Francis, Minnesota. This is about 35 miles north of Minneapolis, making it a great day trip destination for anyone in the Twin Cities.
There are two different types of rides. The Enchanted Sleigh Ride has room for four visitors. Box sleighs have room for several more. Either way, this is a nice activity for families and small groups of friends. Sleighs are pulled by two beautiful horses.
The view of the grounds is simply stunning, especially under a blanket of snow. There's no better way to enjoy the winter than with a horse-drawn sleigh ride!
If you're looking for a fun way to get outside this winter, look no further than a sleigh ride at Roselawn Stables. Rides start at $225. It's a truly enchanting experience!
