There’s no denying it: northern Minnesota – and Minnesota in general – has countless delicious restaurants with food that will rock your world. So how do they stand apart from one another? How do you choose one over the other? One easy way is to focus on what else the restaurant has to offer. You may be drawn to it because of its proximity to your final destination, or because of its incredible views. The restaurant we want to talk about today falls into the latter category. This place not only has incredible food. But as you eat, you’ll be able to enjoy amazing lake views. Take a look:
Lazy Bear Grill is a popular roadside stop in Barnum, Minnesota, about 40 miles south of Duluth. Address: 3696 Main Street, Barnum, MN 55707.
There are other seats in the restaurant, but try to get one with a view. The windows look out over nearby Bear Lake. With the lush forests all around, this is a northern Minnesota paradise.
You also can't go wrong with a burger. They're huge - a half-pound each - and loaded with your favorite toppings. With a side of fries, how can you go wrong?
After you're done eating - if you have room, that is - order a slice of pie! They're made from scratch and full of flavor. You can order a classic like French silk or apple, or try out a seasonal flavor. Whatever you do, it's bound to be delicious!
Lazy Bear Grill is open Sunday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, they’re open 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Have you ever stopped in?
