It’s not every day that you find a great restaurant that also offers entertainment – but today you will. Betty Danger’s Country Club in Minneapolis is a fun take on the country club stereotype. You will find the golf pants and polo shirts you might imagine, but you won’t find the stuffy, exclusive attitude often present at a real country club. Not only that, but Betty Danger’s offers entertainment – including a ferris wheel patio -that you just can’t find anywhere else. This is one quirky restaurant you’re bound to love.
Betty Danger’s Country Club is an irreverently preppy restaurant that styles itself as "the country club for the 99%."
But what does that mean? Basically, you don't have to be a member. Regular country club dues don't apply - because Betty Danger's isn't really a country club.
But the country club theme is still important. Many guests get into it by dressing up in their preppy best. Casual attire is still acceptable, though. All are welcome here.
But what's atmosphere if there's no food? You'll find seriously great food described as a combination of "Minnesota, Mexico, and The Hamptons." Intriguing, right?
Like any good country club, guests are welcome to a round of golf. But unlike most country clubs, this is a mini golf course featuring colorful, quirky statues.
Betty Danger's is located at 2501 Marshall Street Northeast in Minneapolis. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
