Unsurprisingly, it, too, claims the title of the first Dairy Queen in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. At one point, there was concern that this location's distinctive building would be demolished and replaced with a more modern facility. Fortunately, the original building is still standing.
You'll find friendly faces to greet you at either location.

The Rochester location has been owned by the same family since it opened. The Roseville location has changed hands a couple of times, but it's still a family-run business.
