The first European settlers arrived in the late 1600s, setting up fur trade but not creating any permanent settlements. It wasn’t until centuries later that the first stone house was built, ad it still stands today. Minnesota’s oldest home is almost 200 years old, and it’s well worth the drive to visit it.
