Minnesota’s stunning Northern Lights are a one-of-a-kind experience if you get the chance to view them. The bright swirling colors are absolutely stunning, and there’s nothing like sitting back and letting the night take you away. These spots in MN are perfect to visit if you’re looking for that magical nighttime view. You won’t want to miss out on this!
1. Beaver Bay has treated many a visitor to stunning views of lights over the North Shore.
2. Kittson County caught this amazing show, and a lucky photographer took this incredible time lapse with 4 locations of beautiful views.

3. In Grand Marais, these stunning lights were captured during a warm summer night.
4. At Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, the winter auroras are phenomenal! However, please keep in mind the refuge is only open 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset, so being inside the refuge for the actual lights is not likely.
