There has been an influx out outsiders from the Midwest moving to Minneapolis seeking jobs and for the relatively progressive nature of the city. Those who have moved to Minneapolis from around the entire country have received a crash course lesson on the city and what life like here is like. Here are ten things you quickly earn when you move to Minneapolis.
With corporate headquarters based in downtown Minneapolis and nearby Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis is naturally Target obsessed. The Target store on Nicollet has been recently revamped and features a liquor store, an expanded beauty section, improved produce, and lower prices. Minneapolitans can't get enough.
During the winter, rivers and waterfalls mostly freeze over, and you'll want to stay in bed all day when it's below zero for two weeks straight, but winter isn't permanent. On the plus side, winter in Minneapolis, is kinda really pretty.

Every summer, Minneapolis becomes a playground. Parks throughout the city showcase live music and movies, the city's lakes are full of activity, and everyone is out and about after a long winter hibernating. Summer in the city is magical.

Minneapolis transplants have often said it's hard to get to know the locals because everyone is so polite and you don't actually know how they feel about you. Minneapolitans keep their opinions to themselves and judge from afar. Once you get beyond our exterior, Minneapolitans will be some of the kindest people you've ever met.
