Food trucks are awesome. What could be better than delicious meals on wheels? The Food truck trend has swept the nation, and Minneapolis has some of the best! Here are 14 tasty trucks that you definitely need to chase down!
1. Hot Indian Foods Truck
Holy moley, this downtown food truck is delicious! It's hard to find a dish on this menu that is anything less than fantastic. Everything is fresh, hot, and tasty. The only downside? This truck, which is parked near the skyway, is incredibly popular and can get busy during the lunch rush... but if you have a few extra minutes to spare, the wait is totally worth it. Try the Indurritos (Indian burritos)!
The Hot Indian Foods Truck in the downtown area is currently holding out for warmer weather, but check out their website for their 2017 schedule (and locations!). If you just can't wait for this delicious treat, Hot Indian Foods also has a spot at the Midtown Global Market that is open seven days a week.
2. The World Street Kitchen Food Truck
If you are looking for something delicious and unique, look no further than World Street Kitchen's Food Truck. 3. The Anchor Fish & Chips Food Truck
It's hard to find better fish and chips outside of Britain! Anchor certainly got their batter just right... it's crispy, thin, and surprisingly light - which is a rare find when you are looking for a deep-fried treat. The portions are large and the prices are cheap, so this is a great place to fill up on a budget. They also serve tasty meat pasties and shepherd's pie if you aren't in the mood for seafood.
Anchor Fish & Chips is a popular spot and it's a small truck, so plan to spend a few extra minutes in line. Everything is fried fresh, so it's worth the wait, but if you want to make it a quick stop, try to plan your visit for in off-hours time.
The Food Truck roams around the Twin Cities (and makes appearances at the Food Truck Festival in Uptown), but there is also a permanent location at 302 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN.

Get Sauced's pulled pork seriously can't be beat. The tacos and rice bowls are amazing and their portions are HUGE and the items on their menu at all under $10, so this is a great deal for what you get. There's definitely a global feel here - the BBQ pork celebrates the South, and they serve both Mexican- and Asian-style bowls that fuse all of the best flavors into one tasty plate. This is the kind of meal that you need to take a nap after.
The Get Sauced Truck makes its way around town and you can stay up-to-date on their location through their Facebook and Twitter pages, but you will DEFINITELY see these guys at major events around town, at festivals, and around the downtown breweries (especially when the Twins are playing!)
