People who live in the Twin Cities are lucky to have dozens of great restaurants at our fingertips. But what about when we want to get away from it all? It turns out, you don’t have to go far into any of the nearby small towns to get a bite to eat. For one town in particular, you might want to plan an entire day within city limits. Jordan, Minnesota is full of scrumdiddlyumptious restaurants.
Jordan, Minnesota, is located about 35 miles southwest of Minneapolis. It is quite small, with a population of just over 5,000.
The town is most known for Minnesota's Largest Candy Store, the enormous store located right on Highway 169 in Jordan. But there are other great places to stop, including the following Jordan restaurants:
Also along Highway 169 is one of several fantastic Jordan restaurants. Suzette's is a comfortable spot that specializes in European-style food. You'll find seafood, beef, pasta, and more - all with delicate, delicious flavors you'll love. Address: 20251 Johnson Memorial Drive, Jordan.
If you're looking for something a bit more laid back, you might want to try the Feed Mill. This diner-style restaurant is a go-to for locals looking for a good meal. You can't go wrong with breakfast, with classic dishes served in hearty portions. There is also a large lunch and dinner menu filled with diner favorites. Address: 200 Water Street, Jordan.
For many, supper clubs are a taste of Minnesota's past. A trip to one is a nostalgic glance into the 1930s and 1940s, when hundreds of clubs dotted the state. The Jordan Supper Club shares in that history, updating it for the 21st century. Here, you'll find a beautiful and comfortable dining area, and a menu that combines past and present into mouthwatering meals. Address: 20201 Johnson Memorial Highway, Jordan.
